IMG_3241 Our high school program is designed for our students to learn high academic and college preparatory material at an accelerated pace. Price High operates on a quarter system, which allows students to complete more coursework in the same period of time as schools on the semester system, thus allowing them to enter college with freshman credit. Since our charter graduating class of 1996, Price has maintained a 100% graduation rate, and consistently has a 100% 4-year college and university acceptance rate for its graduating class.

Standards-Based Instruction

Price offers “standards-based instruction,” which means that in order to achieve the academic standards and expected school-wide learning results that 1)

  • All students are involved in challenging learning experiences and 2)All teachers use a variety of

strategies and resources that actively engage students, emphasize higher order thinking skills, and help them succeed at  high levels.

Quarter System

Price High School operates on an academic quarter system, which allows students to complete more coursework in the same period of time as schools on the semester system. Hence, students are able to participate in campus internships and complete college credits. Some students even graduated with a high school diploma and Associate’s Degree at the same time.

Honor and Advanced Placement

We offer Honors and AP courses in English, History, Mathematics, Sciences, and Performing Arts.

Students participate in chapel each week on campus. Chapel services are led by members of Crenshaw Christian Center’s pastoral staff.

On-Campus Internship Program

Price students are also able to learn crafts from Crenshaw Christian Center employees through our on-campus internship program. Students are able to spend a quarter interning in different ministry auxiliaries, such as CCC Advertising, Media, and as Teacher’s Aides in the elementary school classrooms.

Average Class Size

Price’s high school program also has award winning athletic and performing arts programs that continue to grow and achieve. We have captured over 49 first-place championships in state, region, section, league and tournament divisions since 1997, with six CIF state championships in boy’s varsity basketball alone.

Performing Arts

Our performing arts department includes dramatic arts and recording arts,  in which our students perform original screenplays with soundtracks that the students have composed and produced.
