Overview

Our high school program is designed for our students to learn college preparatory material at an accelerated pace. Price High operates on a quarter system, which allows students to complete more coursework in the same period of time as schools on the semester system, thus allowing them to enter college with freshman credit. Since our charter graduating class of 1996, Price has maintained a 100% graduation rate, and consistently has a 100% 4-year college and university acceptance rate for its graduating class.

Standards-Based Instruction

Price offers “standards-based instruction,” which means that in order to achieve the academic standards and expected school-wide learning results that 1.All students are involved in challenging learning experiences and 2.All teachers use a variety of strategies and resources that actively engage students, emphasize higher-order thinking skills, and help them succeed at high levels.
