Price Alumnus Named Top 2020 Student Athlete

Every year, the Los Angeles Sentinel names several top student athletes in Los Angeles County. For the 2019-202 school year, one of our own Price alumni made the list! Class of 2020’s Julian Dixon was #14 on the list.

It is our mission at Price to produce well-rounded students; students with great academic and athletic capabilities and strong Christian principles. We’re so proud to see Julian being honored for embodying these things!

Virtual ASB | 2020-2021

Every Fall, our High School students elect their Associated Student Body (ASB) representatives. This Fall, though virtual, was no different. It was important to our ASB Leader, High School teacher - Mrs. Rainey, that the students maintain school spirit, which is typically inspired and carried out by the ASB representatives.

With that, she created a Google Classroom where ASB candidates posted their campaign signs. She then held a Zoom meeting where each candidate got to give a speech detailing their ideals and position. Afterwards, the student body voted for each position virtually.

Today, here, we’d like to announce our winners!

2020 Virtual Valedictorian and Salutatorian Speeches from Price Schools

We couldn't be prouder of our students this school year, especially our graduates. Each and every one of them persevered and overcame despite the trying circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic. As we all worked diligently to fully convert to the virtual classroom, making difficult choices, abrupt and sometimes frustrating changes, and numerous adjustments along the way, they put their “noses to the grindstone” to make it work. They rose to the occasion!

With personal health and safety guidelines still in effect at the time of our 2020 graduation, our Valedictorian and Salutatorian speeches for grades 5, 8, and 12 have been recorded for your safe viewing at home. Please find them below.
