Preparing High School Students for College and Beyond
Our high school program is designed to accelerate learning and prepare students for college with a strong academic foundation. Students are given the opportunity to dive deep into their coursework, mastering content and often earning college credits by graduation. Since our inaugural graduating class of 1996, we have proudly maintained a 100% graduation rate and 100% college acceptance rate.
Academic Excellence
Our standards-based instruction challenges students with high-level learning experiences, engaging them through dynamic teaching strategies that foster critical thinking and academic achievement. Students can further excel through a robust selection of Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses in English, History, Mathematics, Science, and Performing Arts.
Students have the opportunity to engage with a well-rounded curriculum that balances academics, extracurricular activities, and leadership development. This structure allows students to pursue internships, gain college credits, and, in some cases, graduate with both a high school diploma and college credit. Our small class sizes, averaging 15 students, ensure personalized attention and foster strong student-teacher relationships.
College Credit Opportunities
We’re committed to preparing students for college and beyond. Starting in 9th grade, students have the opportunity to earn college credit while completing their high school curriculum. This unique program allows students to get a head start on their college education and enhance their academic portfolio.
Incoming freshmen are required to take Health and Sociology—both college-level courses that fulfill graduation requirements while offering dual enrollment credit. These courses provide students with a strong foundation in understanding physical and mental wellness, as well as the social dynamics that shape our world.
This initiative reflects our commitment to academic excellence and equips our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in higher education and life.
Spiritual and Personal Development
Spiritual growth is a core part of our high school experience. Students attend weekly chapel services led by Crenshaw Christian Center’s pastoral staff, designed to inspire and encourage them in their Christian walk.
Our on-campus internship program offers students practical, hands-on experience, with opportunities to work in departments like Advertising, Media, and serve as Teacher’s Aides, contributing to their personal and professional development.
Arts and Athletics
Price High’s performing arts program offers students the chance to explore their creativity through dramatic and recording arts, where they write, perform, and produce original screenplays and soundtracks. Our visual arts program further allows students to develop their talents through painting, drawing, and other visual mediums.
We also offer an award-winning athletics program, with over 49 championships in state, regional, sectional, and league competitions, including six CIF state championships in boys’ varsity basketball.
