Spiritual Life at Price Schools

We believe that spiritual growth is an integral part of education. Our mission goes beyond academic preparation; it is to nurture the spiritual lives of our students, helping them develop a strong relationship with God while learning how to apply Christian principles to their everyday lives. We integrate faith into all areas of our curriculum and create opportunities for students to grow in their faith through worship, service, and community.

Weekly Chapel Service

Chapel services are a cornerstone of spiritual life at Price Schools. Students from preschool through 12th grade participate in 30-minute weekly chapel services, designed to foster spiritual development and provide an opportunity to worship together as a school community. Chapel services are led by Crenshaw Christian Center's pastoral staff, with special guest speakers and student involvement in music and ministry.

Additionally, students engage in national faith-based events such as See You at the Pole and the National Day of Prayer, where they gather to pray for their community, nation, and personal concerns. These experiences help build a sense of unity and shared purpose among the student body.

Crenshaw Christian Center Teen Ministry

High school students are encouraged to deepen their spiritual journey by participating in Crenshaw Christian Center’s Teen Ministry, where they can connect with peers, receive spiritual mentorship, and grow in their faith outside the school setting. Through dynamic teachings, small group discussions, and special events, students are given the tools to strengthen their walk with Christ.

Spiritual Goals for Students

By the time a student graduates from Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools, we hope they will have achieved the following spiritual milestones:

  • Strong Biblical Foundation: Students will have a deep understanding of biblical truths, able to apply them to their personal and academic lives.

  • Personal Relationship with God: Through prayer, worship, and study, students will have cultivated a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Christian Leadership: Equipped with servant leadership skills, students will feel empowered to lead and serve in their churches, communities, and future careers.

  • Commitment to Service: Students will understand the importance of service to others, having participated in various community outreach and mission projects.

  • Moral Integrity: Grounded in Christian values, students will exhibit strong moral character, making decisions based on integrity, compassion, and faith.

  • Spiritual Resilience: Students will have developed the spiritual resilience needed to navigate challenges with faith, prayer, and reliance on God.

We strive to ensure that when our students leave Price Schools, they are not only academically prepared but also spiritually equipped to make a positive impact on the world around them.
